The stand of the Basque Country at the London International Wine & Spirits Fair will host seven companies representing fourteen wineries with wines from Rioja Alavesa and Txakoli white wines.
Basque Government Minister for Agriculture Gonzalo Saenz de Samaniego will attend Tuesday the London International Wine & Spirits Fair to boost promotion of Basque wine production.

A unique collection of fine wines amassed by Jacques Chirac during his time as Mayor of Paris has gone on sale.
The Antique Wine Company is offering one fortunate wine collector the opportunity to acquire the complete collection.
Bids open from May 16 on this assemblage of exceptional wine, personally selected for Chirac across his years in mayoral office, from 1977-1995.

(Drinks Media Wire). Santa Helena is pleased to announce having attained numerous and very relevant awards at one of the most important wine competitions in the world.
At the renowned Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, which took place on 29 th and 30 th of April at the Dutch city of Maastricht, Santa Helena was awarded a Great Gold Medal for its Selección Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 –one of seven which were attained by Chilean wines at this competition–; and Gold Medals for its wines Notas de Guarda Carmenère 2004 and Premium Varietal Shiraz 2005.
